This week we introduce Kir BULYCHEV, outstanding Russian SF and scenario writer (1934 - 2003), He graduated from the Moscow Teachers Training Institute of Foreign Languages, worked as a translator and the APN correspondent in Burma, after finishing graduate work at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences, worked at the Institute of Oriental Studies. In 1965 defended his Candidate's thesis on «The State of Pagan (XI-XIII Centuries)», defended his doctoral dissertation on the theme: «The Buddhist Sangha and the State in Burma». Since 1965 began to write SF. A screenwriter with more than 20 filmed works to his credit, laureate of the State Prize in 1982 for the scenario to «Per Aspera Ad Astra» and the animated film «The Secret of the Third Planet». Winner of the Aelita award in 1997.
